Calypso St. Barth’s sample sale comes just in time for the summer heat. I arrived to yesterday’s friends and family day just before closing. It wasn’t mobbed but it was still very busy. There were women walking down the aisles carrying armfuls of clothing and trying to make it to the dressing room before they closed for the day. There was a short line at the cash registers.
If you’re looking to stock up on dresses for the beach or barbecues in the City, this is the sale to hit. A big plus: the prices won’t break the bank. For $19, you can get some fun colorful dresses and tops (Matta Nemi sleeveless dress and top, Glitz dress and a beige lace lingerie dress) in white, coral, turquoise green and bright lavender. I also spotted the Phillips dress and Patience top for $49. There were cashmere sweaters for $69 and $99. The Darshini light-weight cashmere sweater ($99) in great summer hues caught my eye. Also on offer were boots for $149 and the coveted Calypso scents were going for $19. Sale opens to the public today at 10am.

I would only go to this if you have 30 minutes to wait on line to get in and then 30 minutes to wait on line to pay. some good deals inside and plenty of stock but that line was awful. i had to leave. will go back later in the week and pray for shorter lines.
I went at 130 today and it was not too bad. 5 minutes outside, no line inside but you have to check your purse. The perfumes are all 9 dollars with signature scent going for 19. amazing deals
Judging by my friend’s two purchases, it appears Toilette is $9 and Parfum is $19.
