Die-hard fans of Proenza Schouler lined up this morning in Soho for the fashion house’s sale. About half-an hour before the doors opened, the crowd was moved down a few doors to the actual location (74 Mercer Street) – a spacious basement space. The same one that Derek Lam used for their sale last May. While the line wasn’t too long, I just couldn’t wait. They were limiting the amount of people who were allowed inside so I decided to head to my appointment. We’ll try to check out the sale later today. We hear that you’ll find pieces from this spring/summer 2012 collection and past season samples. If you do happen to stop by, let us know what the sale is like.

What happened to the Alexander Wang sample sale this year?
Hi Kia – No word on the Alexander Wang sample sale, which was held in August last summer. Weird. Maybe they’ve decided to skip it this season. But I’ll let you know if I hear anything.
I got a cool hoodie at last year’s Alexander Wang Sale, but it soon started coming apart. It was made in Vietnam after all.
