Bing Bang Bargains

The New York based jewelry label, Bing Bang, is hosting a sample sale at its offices near Chinatown. Designed by Anna Sheffield, each piece of Bing Bang jewelry is handmade in NYC.  The sale offers 35 to 75 percent off retail prices.

I’m a great fan of Sheffield’s elongated egg-shaped bangles which are now going for $15 to $75 (was $45 to $75).  You’ll also find deals on mixed metal chain bracelets (some are under $50).  Plus, earrings and rings starting at $10.  There’s also plenty of necklaces – many are tagged around $100.  But you can find a few bargains for under $50.  The Bow Web chain necklace is $100 (was $215) and the Vivienne pyramid necklace is $100 (was $355).  I find Sheffield’s pieces fun and edgy.  I like how she combines multi-chains, mixed colored metals and crystals to create her jewelry.  Sale ends Friday.  They take both cash and major credit cards.  But if you pay cash, you won’t get charged tax. If you’re in the neighborhood, the sale is worth checking out.

Where/When: 153 Lafayette St., nr. Grand St. 4th Floor; July 27 to 30; T–F (noon–7).
