YSL: Yves Soggy Line

The line to the Yves Saint Laurent sale in the Garment District was constant on Tuesday… It formed at the crack of dawn and continued through out the day until the doors closed.  We captured some of the images of soggy shoppers standing during yesterday afternoon’s downpour.  Take a look at these hardcore fans…

I went to the SS today, there is no crazy line outside the building. I line is not crazy at all, i probably waited 15 mins on the stairs. The handbag inventory was pretty low, but i got a YSL roady leather bag for 400, and a pair of love flat for 200, there are a lot of tributes. Overall, if u only looking for shoes, I think u should totally go!!! Happy shopping :-)

I went today (Thurs) and there was barely a line at 9:15 am (10 min wait on stairway).

The smaller size clothes are hit or miss (sizes 2-4 – some coloured denim skirts, a few nice pairs of trousers, nothing in the way of jackets) and the shoe section is dwindling fast. Barely any good stuff left in smaller sizes (35-36.5) except for royal blue and green satin sandals and red, yellow, and black pump wedges. No tribs left in smaller sizes either. Some trib pumps in 37… If your shoe size is over 38 it might be worth it to check it out later today or tomorrow, but I was told by a staffer that no new deliveries would be in (they had one last night). Plenty of dark blue hobo-type bags for 500, decent selection of belts if you’re into that. I saw lots of nice shoes in the 39-41 section, including green tributes, but didn’t look too closely. So if you are a larger size… head over.

          Pez,
Are there any wallets or clutches when u go early in the morning? Is there any muse bag or chyc or downtown bag left?
