I did stick it out… and the wait wasn’t that bad once they let all of us inside the YSL sale. Let me get down to the merchandise and today’s additional discount. Almost everything that’s still inside is marked down. The shoes are now $100, boots and Tributes $200 (if you can find any!). Clothing is 50% off the sale price. That means the following: jackets & dresses are now $150 (from $300), pants at $75 (from $150), skirts & blouses $50 (from $100), sweaters at $75 (from $150) and so on.
The men’s section is really depleted just a few button downs, jackets and pants, and a handful of shoes. No men’s belts. No sunglasses at all. As for jewelry, only the chunky rings left at $25. Women’s belts (and there were a few racks left) are now also $25. As for handbags, they only had one style left when I got there. The YSL leather hobo with horn handle for $400 (see photo below). Not a great deal since I found it online for $699! It was a free-for-all this morning. The women shoppers were all heading straight for the shoes. And who can blame them when they’re now down to $100! Doors close at 3pm today.

Sarah – the more common smaller sizes (36-37) were going fast but they still had some great classics (pictured in the updated post), especially the satin strappy sandals in black. There was more available in larger sizes. But shoppers were snapping up the shoes. I didn’t spot any Tribs. And the boot selection was seriously depleted.

Sarah – when I was there this morning, they had a range of sizes from 5-8. But at $25, I’m not sure there’s any left! That jewelry are was mobbed this morning!
i just got back from the sale!! only 4, 5, 7 left. No more 6. Lots of 5, a few 7.

Men shouldn’t be upset if they couldn’t make it. While the prices today were nice, there was absolutely nothing worth getting. Everything looked very picked over or damaged. I was jealous of the women’s shoes bc those were a steal at $100.
