For men, the popular cotton shirts have gone up a bit and are on sale for $78, pants are $75. The Mister came with me this time looking for a light-weight windbreaker we spotted at the Steven Alan store in Brooklyn. While he didn’t find that jacket, he did find a great selection of outerwear, including a classic wax cotton Barbour for $149 (made in England). Other labels we spotted: Ulla Johnson linen pants from $110-120, blazer at $150, silk tops at $50-$95; a whole rack of Chen Studio short shorts for $40; Holy Tee knits at $65; Rogan jeans for $75 and Earnest Sewn for $69. The selection for women’s shoes were so-so (Marisausa going for $25; Modern Vintage boots at $75; Pare Gabiatas for $39 and a couple of pairs of A Detacher boots for $199). There were some great Rag & Bone boots for $199 but the sizing was limited.
