Fashionable Femme Jen managed to make it inside the Proenza Schouler sale in Soho. Just two hours into the sale and already the offerings were picked through. While she did walk out with something, she tells us that the sale was a bit stressful:

There was no line this morning when I waltzed into the Proenza Schouler sale around 10:45am. Unfortunately, a lot of the merchandise had already been depleted. “NO PHOTO” signs were everywhere, but I did manage to get a couple blurry shots. Rolling racks lined the room on three sides and two plastic bins of handbags sat in the middle of an otherwise empty floorspace. Girls were stripping down and trying things in front of racks (good thing all the windows are blacked out!) since there was no changing room.

Of the clothing available, some notable items are a long sleeve white crepe blouse for $138, a black blazer with yellow animal print along the sides for $845, and a pair of summery floral pants for $428. Generally, most of the merchandise hovered around the $300 mark. For bags, there is a bulky camera bag in brown and black as well as pastel leather trimmed canvas fold over purses for $128. In the 15 minutes it took for me to browse the sale, 7 racks of clothing were depleted. Though it isn’t super-crowded, the line to check out is growing and the clothes on the racks was disappearing. If you want in on the Proenza Schouler sale, hurry by to catch the last of the offerings, as sale organizers say they will not be restocking.

Fellow blogger Keiko who happen to be among the early birds to get inside emailed us a link to her review. She tells us it was chaotic inside. Click here to see her photos and read her findings.

I went around 11 am and almost EVERYTHING was gone. There were about 10 people in line to pay and about 3 shoppers hoarding giant amounts of clothing and acting like complete trash. These people are the worst!
