The Krizia Warehouse Sale ends today (Tuesday) at 7pm… Yesterday after work, I thought I’d take another look to see the remaining deals. Not a surprise that the merchandise was fairly picked through – selection limited as well as sizing. The sale prices were the same 70 to 90% off the ticketed price. There were a few shoppers going through the racks intent on trying to find that something special.
At this point, there were very few pieces for men. The offerings were mostly separates for women (dresses, tops, knits, skirts and pants). The cocktail/party dresses and gowns can be found in the back. At first look, I didn’t see much that caught my eye, especially since most of the pieces were too large for me. However, after a shopper came out to show a pair of pants to her husband, I decided to take a better look. The trousers she had on looked great on her; a perfect fit, basic black and great for the fall. After spending a few minutes going through the racks and tables, I finally found a few pairs in my size. In the end, I picked up a couple of basics (one for this fall and another for next summer priced at under $50 each). Plus, the best find of all: a stunning pair of silk, flowing black/ivory trousers for $107 (originally $1,070).

Fashionable Femme Jen also checked out the sale yesterday… She gives us her impressions:
My curiousity was piqued after previous comments on the Krizia sale, so I stopped by after work this fine sunny day. It seemed like most of the merchandise has been picked through, though cashmere, dresses and shoes seem to still have a decent selection. Most of the merchandise is size 40-44, though I did see a few size 38 items. Stand-outs to me are a soft turquoise ruched crepe v-neck top for $37.50, a pair of super soft black cashmere leggings for $57, a sleek black embellished round neck dress for $37.50 and a daring black, white and red drape back dress with a red leather panel across the front. In the back, I saw a couple pairs of fun sandals for $37.50. A sad pair of $10 bargain bins sits in the middle of the store with mixed items. The women’s selection has mostly red (80% off) and yellow (90% off) stickers.
There are no fragrances left and the men’s offerings have been depleted save a couple items for 90% off. Four handbags for $50 are left, though one of the two white baguette style bags is stained and one of the two velvet purses is missing a chain. The store was relatively quiet and a couple of the salespeople were commenting to the pair of European ladies on how quickly the merchandise moved during the sale. If you’re a fan of the brand, now is the time to enjoy the nice weather and venture to the west side for the last day of bargains!
