IF Soho Boutique on Grand Avenue begins its semi-annual spring sale tomorrow… NOT it’s end-of-season sale as I reported earlier this week. Apologies for the error… I received a postcard in the mail about this sale and I assumed it was the basement sale the store holds twice-a-year. But, you’ll still see sayings on edgy, avant-garde labels such as Comme des Garcons or Junya Watanabe, Maison Martin Margiela and Dries van Noten. Plus, lots of pieces from Danish designer, Ivan Grundahl’s.
Where/When: 94 Grand St., nr. Greene St. (212-334-4964); Starts May 31st; Daily (11–7p).
Has anybody gone to the IF sale yet – is it worth the trip ?
KateM – The sale is actually the shop’s regular spring markdowns.. not the end of season “basement” sale, I reported earlier. Apologies… you’ll have to wait for the end of summer for the better discounts.

Are there any updates on when the semi anual sale might takle place? I would love to get a chance to go and find something interesting.
I have heard that Atelier ny has similar clothes and semi anual sales too. Do you know about them?

Hi Javier – If Boutique in Soho is indeed having its end-of-season Warehouse Sale (in the basement) next week. It starts on Wednesday and doors open at 11am. I’ll post a sale alert about it later today. As for Atelier, I’m not familiar with their sales. Have you been to one in the past? If so, would love to hear details…
