While we wait for Larry Label Whore’s report on the Dolce & Gabbana sample sale, we got a review on The Row sample sale which is well underway right now at Soiffer Haskin near Penn Station. The blogger known as New York a la Keiko sent us her findings… She reports that everything is at 70% offretail. There’s apparel as well as accessories, including handbags (one of the things I was wondering about). The price range is pretty wide from $150 (cotton T-shirts) to $8,500 (an ostrich skin miniskirt), according to her. No details on what the handbags will cost you. But she does tell us that there are actual samples (well-made, in her opinion) to be had for under $100. Also, sunglasses starting at $100.
Where/When: 317 West 33rd Street (just west of 8th Avenue). Thurs, Sept 20th – Sun, Sept 23rd. Thurs-Sat (9-6:30p), Sun (9-5p).

Handbags were running around 2k (discounted 70% from their 5-6k original price). there wasn’t too many to choose from though. I got some amazing deals on the samples.
OMG! Love this label’s RTW. Hope everyone continues to focus on the bags so I can snag some clothes tomorrow night!
had TONS of clothes-mostly black and white, in alot of sizes. bags were ridiculous but that’s how they are. sunglasses were okay–but they had alot of them.
Thanks Francine!
