If you thought the prices were pretty good at the Fred Perry sale, it gets better… Artsy Anna went back to the sale in Chelsea. She got the dirt on the reductions:

Anna tells us that the owner of the showroom, John, was still marking down merchandise this morning. So if you don’t see the new prices marked, just mention that you saw the new discounts here – on Sample Sally. Where/When: 547 W. 27th St between 10th and 11th Aves, third floor (no phone); May 10 through May 16. Mon—Fri 10am—7pm, Sat—Sun noon—5pm.

Whoa! Yohji x Fred did a collaboration or is that his own line?
I am debating whether I should go now or sunday! Any suggestions sally or anna?
Also, any idea if they will restock and what sizes the liberty items are?
Hi Brad,
I don’t know if further reductions or restocks are planned but the bags have noticeably thinned since yesterday. I mention this because there are excellent choices here and this is one of the few sections that has not been reduced.
As of noon today, I was told there were only two Liberty pieces left. I was short on time so I didn’t have a chance to see them or note sizes.
Let us know how you make out!
P.S. The sunglasses are Yohji Yamamoto for Linda Farrow.
oh no! Are there still any leather bags left?
There were still vinyl and leather bags today but, as with all sample sales, it’s anyone’s guess how long they’ll last!
I went today, the sale was horrible. Ugly pieces and extremely expensive. Not a single soul was there.
Jackets were $100
All bags were $100 (None really caught my eye)
All women’s shoes were size 4 (yeah good luck with that)
All men’s shoes were size 8 (I mean really?)
All men’s shirts were $40-80
Extremely far walk from the subway for something that is not worth it at all.
May I also add that some of these 50 pounds (around 80 USD) bags from the current season were also priced at $100.

Rip off much?
Brad – i went on Saturday as well, and totally agree with your assessment. Epic FAIL.
Brad and fuku, I think you went too late! On the first day I bought a super cute spring satchel for under $15.
Friends of mine told me they walked away with some serious scores as late as Thursday and Friday.
I thought this sale was great. Went on Wednesday and got two great pairs of shoes, 2 scarves and a wallet that I love for $100.
People were buying a lot while I was there, so I’m not surprised that it went sour by Saturday.
