Artsy Anna made it into the Fendi Warehouse sale this afternoon with no wait. Surprising since this sale often draws a crowd. Here’s Anna’s initial observation of the first hour of the sale:
Fancy fashion house sales tend to draw frenzied crowds and around-the-block long lines. So I was surprised this afternoon when, barely an hour after doors opened, the stanchions outside the entrance were empty. Inside the sale, there were about 200 shoppers but the sale room was so spacious that the space could have accommodated much more. Racks of dresses, knits, and furs run along the back wall but it’s accessories that dominate here with tables sorted by style and discount. The pricing structure is a bit confusing–some pieces are marked $29-$299 while others are 65-90% off retail ticket.
Anna tells us that staffers do not plan to restock but watch for possible extra discounts on the final day this Thursday.
