The Dolce & Gabbana sample sale got underway today at 1pm at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea. Our very own, Larry Label Whore, is there right now. He just sent us the photo above of the line. Larry estimates an hour’s wait from where he is… If you’re thinking of stopping by later today, be prepared to wait. Stay tuned. We’ll get you a full report from Larry after he’s done shopping. UPDATE: Larry tells us that the prices are “amazing.” He sent us a photo of the price list… where discounts are from 60% to 90% off retail.
Where/When: Metropolitan Pavilion, 123 West 18th St., 5th Floor. Wed, Sept 19th thru Sun, Sept 23rd; Wed (1-6p), Thurs-Sat (10-6p), Sun (11-5p).

Sally, maybe you should think about adding a disclaimer or FAQ about what a sample sale is and what your blog is about. I’ve noticed the comments lately have (for lack of a better word) deteriorated. It’s quite funny for me to read but it must be tiresome for you to reply to the same questions over and over! Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

Caroline, I’m very confused about your interpretation of my comment. Nowhere did I suggest that Sally moderate comments or that anyone not be allowed to say anything. I’m merely suggesting it seems more efficient for Sally to have an FAQ so that she need not answer frequently asked questions over and over. Are you against FAQs?
Hi gals – I do get random comments and while I don’t mind answering them, I’m sure it can be tiresome for those of you who follow my blog regularly. A FAQ tab would be good. But I’m also thinking about creating a forum so we can organize the comments by subject… I’m hoping to have a solution soon.
