Sale Update: Plenty of Garments at YSL
There’s still plenty to be had at the Yves Saint Laurent friends-and-family sale at W. 18th Street. The after work crowd had gathered outside the Metropolitan Pavilion Wednesday night. I found a much smaller line than the one early in the morning. Inside, there were racks of clothing for both men and women. More items for women than men. I spotted plenty of jackets at $400, pants & skirts at $250, dresses at $300, blouses at $175, knits at $150, and tees at $75. As for bags, there were quite a few leather YSL Reversible totes for $700 (black, brown, silver). Leather wallets were going for $100. Shoes were $300, but not a lot left in the smaller sizes (36 & 37). There were also still a lot of belts ($50, buy two get one free). I’m told that they will be restocking through Friday.
Where/When: 260 Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W. 18th St., nr. Sixth Ave., fourth fl.; Thru Oct 30th Th (8–8), F (8–2)
