Price List
As we enter the final days of the Barneys Warehouse Sale, the discounts get deeper and the crowds get bigger. Friday was apparently a madhouse, especially in the afternoon. A friend stopped in after work to see the offerings. He managed to snag a photo of the price list for us (see above). He tells us that the men’s selection was pretty good. He made out with four pairs of trousers, a tie and a pair of ankle boots.
As you can see from the price list, women’s designer (with the red star on tags) is now an additional 60 percent off (WHSE stamped items at 75%). Women’s ready-to-wear is also an extra 60 percent off and women’s shoes are 50 percent off the sale price (BLUE stamped shoes are 75% off). Let us know if you make it into the sale this weekend and if you score on any deals…

I just can’t find anything there -i did buy 1 pair of jeans but i dont know —is it just me? i was on checkout line and it seemed that people were buying 1 or 2 items and
a lot of people seemed to be leaving w/o buying i heard one couple doing the calculations and them both exclaiming -its still pretty high considering —
i don’t know i just am not super impressed maybe casue we have sample sales in ny where bargains are better?
you’re not alone, shopinny… I wasn’t impressed with the offerings this time around.
Hi Sally: I stopped by today and it was INSANELY busy. There’s definitely lots of stuff still left but with the deeper discounts, I saw people leaving with multiple bags. A guy in front of me bought 4 pairs of shoes. He was quite happy. Two tourists leaving with six bags with multiple pairs of shoes–could barely make it down the street, their receipts flapping in the wind, they were so long. As for me, didn’t get anything. Was just too chaotic to look through piles. In other news, I went to Woodbury where they are having their annual Labor Day sale and the Chloe store (which Barney’s never has at the Warehouse sale, I’m not sure they even carry Chloe in the store) was 90% off the retail price of the ready to wear. Literally $695 shirts for $69.50. They said they have a lot of stock (mostly from Spring 09). Highly recommend Woodbury in general but it is a bit of a trek.

still 60% RTW which was same as saturday- BUMMER =we were convinced it woudl be 70% at least!
