Just in case you missed L-A based casual wear label James Perse sample sales at Chelsea and Soho earlier this month, Prive is hosting yet another sale. This time in Brooklyn – starting tomorrow. We’re pretty sure it’s the same stuff as before – T-shirts, tanks, shorts, pants, jackets and more. Most items were 30-percent off the ticketed prices (outlet prices) during last weekend’s sale. However, if you looked hard enough, there were some actual samples for much less. The sale organizers are counting on fans of the brand to turn out.
Where/When: 189 Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn (b/w Hoyt St & Smith St); Thursday August 26 (4-9p); August 27 & 28 (10-8p); August 29 (10-4p).
I made it out for the sale and it was a huge room filled of JP stuff. I bought a top and a long beach dress. I stuck to the samples b/c I can’t justify paying 50.00 for a basic tee at a sample sale.
