Artsy Anna also made her way to the Ben-Amun sample sale in the Garment District yesterday. She’s a fan of the jewelry line. From her report, she was not alone. According to Anna, the space was crowded with shoppers snapping up deals.
I have a small but growing collection of Ben-Amun pieces purchased over the years from Scoop and Henri Bendel.  Judging from the crowd today in their tiny 12th floor showroom, I’m not the only fan of the line.  Shoppers turned out to score fabulous deals on bangles, chain link necklaces, and other baubles.  Ben-Amun usually has one sample sale a year (every fall). But due to increasing demand, they decided to host a second sale this summer. Each piece is individually tagged and with prices ranging from $8 to $80.  There really is something for everyone here. Be sure to make it to Midtown tomorrow for the last day of their sale.
If you can’t make it to their sample sale, this week the label is running a promotion offering a deal a day until tomorrow. Wednesday’s item was the Green Resin Ball Necklace for $25 (was $150).  For details, sign up to their Facebook page or follow them on twitter.
Where/When: 246 W. 38th St., nr. Seventh Ave., Ste. 12A; Thru June 17; Thurs (noon–7)

Has anyone made it to the Giles and Brother sale? The jewelry is sold at Barneys and wondering if it’s fully stocked or not? Thx
Deme – I just called Giles & Brother and they say they are pretty well stocked. The staffer on the phone said they had “lots of stuff. Bangles, earrings, cuffs, necklaces.” Plus, new items. Here’s the number if you have something specific you are looking for: (212)-643-0026. They close today at 6:30p.
You’re the best!!
I’ll either make it there or Mikimoto. Can’t make it to both
if I go to Mikimoto I will report back as you still have tomorrow to check it out.
I made it to the Ben-Amun sample sale. Yes the room where the sale was being held was tiny but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t their showroom. More like someone’s office. I took a sneak peak into the showroom as I was walking out and fingers crossed the fall items are in the next sale.
I went to Giles & Brother also. They had a lot of jewelry.
