DwellStudio Sample Sale

DwellStudio, the modern hip home furnishing NYC label, is hosting a sample sale this week in Soho.  I stopped in Sunday afternoon looking for sheets.  In past sales, I’ve come across great bedding in a wide selection of the label’s fun whimsical designs.  This time, I was disappointed.  There wasn’t much to choose from – just several styles of sheets ($140) and duvet sets ($150).  For bedding, I spotted the following styles: Draper Stripe, Chinoiserie, Pin Dot.  The limited selection could be due to the sale starting on Friday and shoppers picking through the merchandise.  Sunday was quiet.  While there wasn’t a lot of bedding to choose from, there was plenty of other stuff.  Throw pillows are $30 and $40, throw blankets are $95.  Table linens start at $20 for napkins and $25 for placemats.  As for kids, crib sets start at $155; crib fitted sheets are $18; kids blankets are $40 and $60; bib/burp sets are $18.  A staffer told me that they will be getting another shipment of merchandise by Wednesday but he wasn’t sure if it would be more of the same or new styles.  Thanks to our friends at Pint Size Social who gave us the tip on this sale.
