The Ralph Lauren sample sale for friends and family kicked off this morning at 9am at Soiffer Haskin. Just like previous sales, the line stretched down West 33rd street to 9th Avenue.  The sale runs through tomorrow at 6pm. If you’re thinking of trying your luck at getting in, don’t bother. You need a shopping pass (which is given out by Ralph Lauren employees) to enter. The security guard at the door is checking passes before letting anyone inside. However, as Deme alerted me in the comments section, Soiffer Haskin will be hosting a Ralph Lauren sale open to the public on June 8th.
But the general public can attend Starting June 8th as per Soiffer website
Thanks for heads up, Deme. RL must be doing their employees and F&F sale first and whatever is left will be on offer to public on June 8th. I actually went this morning with a friend of mine who works for Ralph… They had some great deals – Ralph dresses for $15. Great RRL belts for $20. Collection knits for $30 to $75. Tons of men’s stuff. There were no more handbags, jewelry was picked over and only size 6 shoes left.
How do you get an invite? Do you just subscribe to Soiffer?

Brad – you can try to get a pass from an RL employee. Apparently, they give them books of passes. If you’re looking for men’s stuff, there was so much. I didn’t have time to look but tons of men’s merchandise. Really great prices. The Soiffer Haskin June 8th RL sale is women’s only.

I have a friend who works for Ralph. That’s how I got in this morning… There were no more man or women bags left. Not a lot of accessories. The employees only sale was yesterday – from what I heard accessories and jewelry were snapped up then.
Sally, you are making me want to go check it out…I don’t have a pass yet and should be able to get one tomorrow. Even though I was going to pass this up…I’m going to go check it out since you reported tons of mens stuff available. Thanks!
Did anyone get a pass from just asking at the RL stores?
ok kids…Just got back from the sale.
Men: If you are medium and BELOW in tops…you might find something…large and ABOVE…dont bother. Ties for $10…but none that you couldnt find at Macy’s or something. Shoes size 9 and BELOW…some outerwear…but again medium and BELOW.
Women: You have options…dresses size 6 is popular…tops – some small…but mostly bigger. Other than that…It may warrant a visit tomorrow IN THE MORNING as I do not see good stuff lasting till the evening/late afternoon.
Mens accessories are very few…maybe a couple of cufflinks at most….no mens bags as someone was asking.

Sally – I was at the Ralph Lauren public sale today. Great stuff from this season (resort mostly)whole room at 70% off. Do you know if Soiffer Haskins marks down further as the sale goes on? There was no line so it would be worth it to go back (on until friday) but the employees were pretty tight lipped as to whether or not further reductions would take place.
Priscilla – sale organizers traditionally offer further discounts during the final days. So if you have time, I would say it would be worth heading back there on Friday to see what was left.
